Teachers Rules
General Rules
- Teachers are expected to maintain classroom decorum.
- Teachers must wear their Chinese Teacher's uniform, issued by CSSD.
- Teachers must attend Principal meeting 30 minutes prior to school assembly.
- Teachers share responsibility in maintaining the safety of CSSD students.
- Teachers must wait until all parents have picked up their students before leaving.
- Be available for parents to discuss student's progress or concerns after school.
- Teachers must volunteer and rotate shifts to supervise student safety during recess and after school, when parents pick up students.
- Teachers are expected to help keep CSSD grounds and classrooms clean at all times.
- If students wish to withdraw from CSSD, teachers must notify School Principal. School tuition is non-refundable.
- Teachers are required to know and encourage their students to abide by Student Rules of Conduct.
In Classroom
- Exercise Class Control
- Write your name on chalkboard
- Start lessons by writing new words on chalkboard
- Provide memorization, drills lessons, meanings, and questions
- Be positive and stimulate student's minds
- Allow students time to practice
- Read and pronounce loudly for students to hear
- Show students practical exercises
- Emphasize the quality of your teaching
