The Oxford Picture Dictionary is the complete reference to essential everyday vocabulary.

The ABC Dictionary enables users to find words seen only in transcription or heard, but not seen in written form.  And, since most dictionary consultation involves characters whose pronunciation is known, over time the total savings in time is enormous.

Another feature of the book is that it is practically unique in giving both Mandarin and Cantonese pronunciations.  We have adopted the Yale Romanization for Cantonese for the benefit of those familiar with this popular Cantonese Romanization system.  The Mandarin pronunciation is given in both Yale and Pinyin system.
